The Achilles tendon is the largest and strongest tendon in the human body, connecting the calf muscles to the posterior aspect of the heel. Despite its strength, it is vulnerable to injury because it receives its blood supply from surrounding tissues rather than having its own dedicated vascular system.<\/p>\n

Causes of Achilles Tendinopathy<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Factors responsible for the development of Achilles tendinopathy include:<\/p>\n
